As Greg and Kunani saw yesterday, the GT-R fitment was...close. One thing missing is that the attachment site on the far right of the car has an ANGLED bolt placement. Fortunately, the Fontana Nissan guys were at the track and were able to twist that side to the correct angle. The spacer/washer combo worked well.

No worries, jid2, the build quality is great. Just giving you feedback for future GT-R customers.

I never intended for tracking to become an obsession. I just took my car out to a track once to see what it could do.

Thanks for the feedback, and I'm glad you got it to work. Did you need to use the longer bolt, and was I correct on the thread size? I was nervous about not being able to fully test fit it, the local GTR guys haven't been much help.

Can you post or email me some pictures of it installed.

I sold the last one of these I had built, so I guess I need to start some more.

I saw some posts of yours on other sites. sounds like you had a blast, I watched your in-car video and you were getting it done. If I make it down to Infineon we can both have fun in the middle of the modified pack.

Thanks, it is a very technical and fun track. It also eats left front tires.

The bolt and thread size were spot on. I'll try to snap a pic or two this afternoon and post it.

  5. Any chance the bracket could be modded w/ the "twist" to better fit the unique GTR seat? You'll see how it can be improved once you see Doc's pics. I think there would be quite a few owners that would prefer this mounting option as it's much cleaner.

Sorry this took so long. Things have been busy around here. Here is a mounted picture:
