    New Website and Timing System for Redline Time Attack!

    A new website from the ground up has been in the works for RedLine Time Attack and the new splash page and logo is up while the site progresses to goes live. I've been told the new site will offer online registration and classification wizards with car/driver performance data including lap times at events.

    I was at the last Willow Springs Track day where the new Redline Crew was testing an RFID lap timing system which was spot on and only requires a small piece of tape with a mini RFID transponder embedded in it. No more bulky transponders and zipties! The new system was able to track times in different zones and could even tell if a car was overdue in a certain segment of the track.

    FX Motorsport NSX representing USA in 2010 World Time Attack Challenge

    The FX motorsport team have entered their record-breaking, turbocharged Honda NSX in the 2010 World Time Attack Challenge to represent the USA.

    Hailing from Las Vegas Nevada, team FX are the reigning Redline unlimited RWD champion and have been a dominant force in US time attack racing holding many track records and are now coming down under to take on the world’s best. This car is extremely fast with over 750rwhp and having clocked a 10.04 second quarter mile time in full circuit trim.

    Eastern creek is renowned as a horsepower track and with the highly experienced Billy Johnson
    doing the driving they will certainly be one to watch on the 21st 22nd May!

    New Jersey Motorsports Park April 10th – 11th
    Las Vegas Speedway (Outside Road Course) April 23rd, 24th, 25th
    Auto Club Speedway May 29th-30th
    Autobahn Country Club June 12th – 13th
    Willow Springs Raceway July 2nd, 3rd, 4th
    Spring Mountain September 24th, 25th, 26th Tentative
    Infineon Raceway October 23rd-24th
    Auto Club Speedway November 12th, 13th, 14th

    They are working to secure 2 additional Eastern events, for a total of 11 Nationwide events in 2010!
